About The Role
The
Global Data & Program Analyst will be responsible for addressing data-related requests from Acceso’s country teams, maintaining and improving Power BI dashboards, ensuring data quality across all systems, responding to inquiries about reports, delivering actionable insights, and training teams on the proper use of data tools and dashboards.
The role requires a balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset to foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to data-related requests from Acceso’s country teams, providing timely support and ensuring that reports and dashboards meet operational and strategic needs.
- Maintain and improve Power BI dashboards by refining existing visualizations, building new ones based on evolving requirements, and ensuring data is accurate, timely, and accessible.
- Ensure data quality across systems by validating data sources, performing consistency checks, and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and communicate actionable insights from existing reports to inform decision-making, identify trends, and highlight areas of opportunity or concern.
- Train and support staff in the proper use of data tools and dashboards, empowering teams to confidently use data in their daily work and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders including program & data analysts, program managers, and leadership to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document reporting processes and standards to ensure consistency, sustainability, and scalability of data solutions across countries and teams.
Required Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum required: Bachelors degree with a focus on engineering, economist, mathematics or data science
- Minimum required: 2 years experience working with rural or low income communities or agricultural based projects in a program design/execution or agronomy role that includes field work
- Experience in data processing and analysis, data cleaning, dashboard creation
- Advanced user of MS Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience using Power BI. and/or SQL
- Experience working with Python or R
- Experience with other tools such as Tableau, Looker, and QlikView is a plus
- Advanced level of English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
