Registered Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one interventions, teaching social and daily living skills, communication skills and behavior intervention for children with autism in home and community settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide home-based services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Introduces safe and appropriate replacement behaviors and reinforcers
  • Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation
  • Collects behavior data including and records data in CentralReach after each session
  • Participate in training and clinical supervision
  • Work with and under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Education, Experience and Other Requirements:

  • Required: Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
  • Required: Valid drivers license and transportation
  • Preferred: High School Diploma, Bachelors or Masters Degree in the Human Service Field with a current RBT Certification

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. may also required.

Working Environment:

  • Travel between clients homes will be required.

  • Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 6:30 pm

Pay Rate: up to $35 hourly.
