The Revenue Cycle Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for execution of all Revenue Cycle functions to include claims submission & adjudication, denial management, patient & practitioner certification, preauthorization, eligibility, & regulatory compliance. The RCC is familiar with all Medicaid & Third-Party Payor processes, a data driven critical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes, & an effective communicator across diverse levels of internal & external stakeholders What you'll do: - Ensures clean claims submission, timely payment posting, & expedient denial management
- Communicates with all funding sources and internal parties with timeliness & efficacy to prevent or quickly resolve related issues.
- Maintains awareness, tracking, & reconciliation of accounts receivable balances and issues
- Relays changes with payor processes & regulations to appropriate personnel
- Develops & maintains expert level of EHR platform.
- Manages timely & accurate submission and disposition of authorization requests
- Assists as needed with both Agency & Practitioner credentialing / market expansion
- Understands workflow & function of all positions in agency
- Performs routine insurance eligibility verification
What you will need to have: - Minimum of 1-year related work experience
- Prior experience with ABA specific billing highly preferred
- High level of critical thinking, problem solving, & data driven decision making
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, EDI transactions, & EHR platforms
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members
- Ability to work independently with onus for outcomes without direct oversight
- Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws
- Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to industry skills, professional development, ethics, technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standard
