Already Autism Health is looking for an Intake Coordinator to oversee the administrative duties of the facility. This person is the first point of contact with whom the patient or customer interacts. They are responsible for moving the patients through the intake process. This representative is responsible for analyzing and documenting basic information of the patient such as name, address, date of birth, etc., for documenting insurance information. In addition, the Intake coordinator works with other administrative staff and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBAs) to provide continual communication and support to staff. What you will do:
  • Ensure that all admission forms are properly signed and filed.
  • Answers and screens inquiry calls and emails from prospective clients.
  • Collect data to help with the Intake process.
  • Scheduling diagnostic evaluations and assessments by obtaining new client information.
  • Communicate effectively between admin and clinical staff.
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Collect and verify insurance and personal information.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs) and Customer Relations Management (CRMs).
  • Handle correspondence and appointment reminders.
  • Manage client intake processes.
  • Client follow-up and re-engagement.
What you will need to have:
  • At least 18 years old and have at minimum completed high school or GED equivalent.
  • Associate degree or healthcare-related coursework (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or front desk role.
  • Experience with EMR software is a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Show proficiency with computer programs which may include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and others.
  • Possesses the ability to adjust to constantly changing workloads and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Central Reach)
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
