The Details:
Location: Hybrid work Headquartered in Downtown Seattle
Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

About the Position:
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, the Manager of Strategic Initiatives is a member of the Strategy Delivery leadership team and is responsible for partnering closely to execute organizational plans, provide business support to ensure the organization achieves its strategic goals and lead initiatives. This position will lead strategic projects and support the implementation of key business processes which impact our organization cross functionally. This position will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, our research department and vendors to lead development of new innovative programs and benefits aligned with our 10-year vision.
You Will:
- Be responsible for the delivery of cross functional projects with effective communication, consistency and efficiency while balancing the needs of different areas of the organization to meet strategic organizational objectives;
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders including contracted vendors to translate high-level organizational goals into actionable plans and pilot programs;
- Collaborate cross-functionally and inspire teams to align daily operations with the company’s 10-year vision and strategic objectives, ensuring that short-term actions support long-term organizational goals;
- Work creatively and analytically with multiple teams across the organization, including Senior Leadership to drive delivery and gain stakeholder alignment and implement strategic projects;
- In partnership with a project manager, be accountable for the ultimate success and acceptance of assigned projects;
- Drive rapid innovation by partnering with business units to develop scalable and sustainable programs;
- From time to time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 7 years of experience leading innovation in a nonprofit or startup setting may be accepted in lieu of degree;
- 5+ years of experience leading organizational initiatives;
- 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to support cross functional projects;
- Ability to think critically, strategically and demonstrate strong deductive reasoning;
- Ability to analyze and present data and insights to ignite action, plan operational efficiency and identify and mitigate risks;
- Skilled in creating innovation, scalable products and operational processes from a strategic vision;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent presentation skills related to developing and delivering progress reports, moving messages and presenting complex concepts to all levels of stakeholders and audiences;
- Proven experience developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and using influence;
- Comfort working and leading productively in ambiguous situations.
It Will Be Great if You Have:
- Experience with vendor management;
- Experience working in a nonprofit, union or start up organization;
- Experience leading in a cross functional shared services environment;
- Lived experience as a caregiver or working within the long-term care sector;
- Experience with standard program and project management tools (Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).
Salary Range:
- $98,656.33 to $134,458.45
