  1. Main Job Purpose:

Chancen International is looking for three (3 ) Member Relationship Associates who will be responsible for checking and collecting employment data from the ISA (Income Share Agreement Members) using different platforms that will be provided to him/her. They will assist the department in making follow-ups to the members (graduates and dropouts) via phone calls, emails, and field visits.

2. Roles, Responsibilities, and Duties:

  • Holding a portfolio and maintaining it healthy
  • Advises ISA members on settlement of outstanding financed amount
  • Represents the interests of the organization in the collection of outstanding financed amount
  • Maintains data input of information about the work done
  • Contact by phone call, email, sms, notice letters or visit the ISA member to inform about expected repayment, amount, day, financed amount balance, and advice on the ways to make the payment.
  • Contact by phone the ISA member, and guardian to inform them about their financial obligations and structure of the debt and terms of repayment collection;
  • Show a good company Image while meeting with graduates and their guardians
  • Comply with CHANCEN International policy, procedures, and code of conduct
  • Meet the Portfolio Department targets as set

Additional Tasks:

  • should be ready to do any other task assigned to him/her by their line manager
  • Be flexible to support other departments in handling tasks in a team as assigned to him or her by the line Manager

3. Educational Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must have 2-3 years in loan recovery in any recognized financial institution in Rwanda
  • Must have the ability to interact with Excel workbooks and computer usage.
  • The candidate must be committed to learning and applying recovery process strategies.
