Complete Farmer is seeking a seeking a dynamic Business Development and Partnerships Manager to lead our vendor relations and business development team in the AgriTech space. This role will play a critical part in expanding our partnerships, enhancing vendor networks, and driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in AgriTech or related industries, a strong vendor management background, and a track record in team leadership and strategic partnership development.

What You’ll Do:
• Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to support business growth.
• Oversee vendor negotiations, contracts, and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor vendor performance, ensuring quality and reliability while meeting company
standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, finance) to optimize vendor sourcing, improve efficiency, and manage costs.
• Lead the development and execution of the business development strategy, focusing on expanding into new markets, partnerships, and customer segments.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Set KPIs and revenue targets for the business development team, tracking and analysing performance against goals.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to create mutual growth opportunities and strengthen market presence.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key external stakeholders and potential partners.
• Facilitate joint initiatives with partners to co-create value, such as co-marketing campaigns, joint product offerings, and events.
• Manage, mentor, and motivate the business development team, fostering a high performance culture focused on innovation and results.
• Set individual and team goals, providing guidance and feedback to support career growth and professional development.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit and retain top talent for the business development and vendor management team.
• Prepare regular reports on business development and vendor activities, showcasing progress, ROI, and impact.
• Analyze and track market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations to the executive team, contributing to long-term growth strategies.
What You will Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field (master's degree
preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or vendor management,
ideally in the agritech or technology sector.
• Proven track record of establishing successful partnerships and leading high-performing
teams.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in using CRM and project management tools.
• Understanding of the AgriTech industry and emerging technologies in agriculture is a plus.
