Cycle Connect, formerly Bicycles Against Poverty, began as a lease-to-own bicycle organization with the mission of improving rural livelihoods and creating access to critical resources. Today, our social enterprise has grown our portfolio to include multiple productive assets, which allow our clients to continuously invest in their future and to propel forward.
Cycle Connect Mission:
Increase income for smallholder farmers through productive asset financing and training.
Cycle Connect Vision:
We envision a world where everyone living in the last mile has the means to thrive, not just survive.
To date, Cycle Connect has distributed a total of 4,000 loans to impact a total of 20,000 rural Ugandans.
