Dream a Dream is a registered, charitable trust empowering children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and flourish in the 21st century using a creative life skills approach. We work with 10,000 young people a year through our two innovation labs – After School Life Skills Programme and Career Connect Programme; we have trained over 6,728 teachers/educators from 191 partners impacting over 1,68,200 children and young people, engage over 1.2 million young people through a state government partnership and have scaled our work across India and Kenya through our unique Life Skills Development model. ROLE: Happiness – Anchor
LOCATION: Delhi
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1
REPORTING MANAGER: Delhi State Lead – Systems Demonstration
SALARY: 40000-45000/month
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The consultant will be an integral part of the development team and will be responsible for many programme related activities within Dream a Dream.
The consultant will work closely with the Delhi State Lead to develop and execute key elements of Dream a Dream’s strategy in its partnership with the Government of Delhi.
Roles and Responsibilities

Execute aspects of Dream a Dream’s strategy as it pertains to its partnership with the Government of Delhi in the implementation of the Happiness Curriculum
-
Work closely with the Happiness Curriculum core group as one of the representative of Dream a Dream
-
Contribute in the areas of Curriculum Development, Training, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Media, Research & Impact Evaluation and Project Reporting

Enhance Happiness Curriculum’s social media presence by publishing high quality content on online platforms

Assist in other related tasks that may be a part of Dream a Dream’s strategy in Delhi

Promote Dream a Dream’s programs and initiatives.

Writing monthly and yearly reports based on the programme status.

Collect feedback from the ground and work on the improvement of the programme

An excellent team player and must be willing to compliment the Delhi team and its effort.
Skills
-
Field level understanding and exposure of government interaction along with managing Government projects.

Strong spoken and written communication and articulation skills. Fluency in English and Hindi is a must and other Indian languages would be an added advantage.

Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.

Ability to analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data, craft possible solutions and recommend actions would be an added advantage.

Strong desire for excellence and consistent drive to improve and learn.

Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with team and various stakeholders for smooth functioning of the project.

Conduct regular field visits. Interact with Students, teachers and other stakeholders to understand and document the impact of Happiness Curriculum.

Contribute to achievement of strategic goals set by the organisation
- Participate in strategic planning for the organisation
-
Being a small team, you would also be required to multi-task between roles given by your reporting manager, as and when required by the organisation for the furtherance of its goals

Develop and execute a strategic digital marketing plan in line with Dream a Dream and Happiness Curriculum’s overall communication strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
-
2 years of experience in Education sector, preferably Socio-Emotional Learning and Life Skills

MS Office, Canva/Adobe Photoshop/InDesign(or any other design tool) and Social Media handling skills
-
Advanced writing, proofing and editing ability in Hindi and English languages.
- Prior experience of field work in government schools is preferable.
