the 130+ million young people living in adversity in India. Our aim is to change the purpose of education
towards the idea of Thriving for every child. Since 1999, Dream a Dream has mainstreamed life skills as a
critical approach to help children overcome adversity and learn to thrive. Today, the organization is
transforming the Indian education ecosystem through its own programmes, through curriculum and
pedagogical innovations and, through the development of holistic assessment frameworks while also
shifting the narratives around the purpose of education. Dream a Dream’s work is spread across 7 Indian
states reaching over 2.2 million children through strategic partnerships with state governments and
collaborations with other non-profits and funders in India.

Role: Program Facilitator

Salary Range Per Annum: INR 6,60,000 to INR 7,20,000

Role Objective/Purpose (include overall objectives of the role, the need for the position, etc.):
As a Program Facilitator in the North Hub, you will be at the heart of our effort to bring alive the vision of
“For every child, a thriving life.” This role is designed to hold space for planning, content delivery, and
reflective facilitation across our programs in Delhi and other North Hub states.
You will work closely with internal teams and government stakeholders to co-create and facilitate relevant
workshops and learning spaces. Through this, you will role-model facilitation that is empathetic, rooted
in purpose, and responsive to the lived realities of the public education system.
The role is both strategic and hands-on – supporting content design, enabling peer learning, and holding
reflective spaces that deepen our collective understanding of life skills and social-emotional learning.
You will bring energy, structure, empathy, and a facilitation mindset to enable young people, teachers,
and systems to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
A. On-ground Implementation
● Execute aspects of Dream a Dream’s strategy as it pertains to its partnership with the Government of
Delhi.
● Ensure the implementation of various Life Skills development modules by facilitating/co-facilitating
Life Skills Facilitation (LSF) sessions for (Pre-service, In-service, and Heads of Schools) teachers, mentor
teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.
● Co-lead experiential workshops.
● Co-facilitate and support capacity-building sessions across different programs/curricula to Delhispecific contexts.
● Support team in adapting Dream a Dream facilitation methods to Delhi-specific contexts.
● Practice and understand all organization and safeguarding policies.
● Understand, embody, and practice organizational values (Equity, Dignity, Inclusivity)
● Ensure that the work is aligned with the organization’s intention and goals.
● Assist in other related tasks that may be a part of Dream a Dream’s strategy in Delhi.
● Any other work assigned by the reporting manager.
B. Designing and Training
● Co-design session plans and training modules based on the needs of state programs.
● Facilitating on-demand (based on requirements of different states).
● Incorporate participant and team feedback to strengthen design and delivery continuously.
● Able to design half-day and one-day SEL/Life Skills activities.
● Document the plan, along with the context for which it was developed.
● Contribute to internal knowledge management through reflections, session reports, and training
feedback.
● Train and practice with facilitators/stakeholders on the facilitation approach through conducting
Dream a Dream youth camps.
● Writing monthly and yearly reports based on the program status.
● Collect feedback from the ground and work on the improvement of the program.
C. Facilitation Skills
• Co-facilitate by sharing space, responsibility, and energy with your co-facilitator.
• Create a space where everyone’s voice is heard and held with care.
• Use imagination, participation, and commitment to bring sessions alive.
• Name and hold missed commitments with kindness and clarity.
• Interrupt gently, without making others feel small.
• Help the group reflect deeply after each activity or conversation.
General Responsibilities:
● Contribute to achievement of strategic goals set by the organization.
● Promote Dream a Dream’s programs and initiatives.
● Participate in strategic planning, annual planning, and budgeting processes for the organization.
● Being a small team, you would also be required to multitask between roles, as and when required by
the organization for the furtherance of its goals.

Qualifications and Competencies:
● Strong alignment with the organization’s values of equity, dignity, and inclusion.
● Trained and certified as a facilitator to work with young people and teachers.
● Prior experience working with government stakeholders, children, and young people.
● Having a good understanding of SEL and Life Skills framework.
● Atleast 4-5 years’ experience in facilitation.
● Fluent in at least 2 languages (English and Hindi).
● Managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
● In-depth understanding of the education sector and related policy issues.
● Proficient in using technology and able to quickly learn and coordinate between various tools and
platforms such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams and Google Meet.
