Ellevation Education seeks an innovative, self-starting, and engaging L&D Program Manager skilled at designing, building, and facilitating engaging and effective learning programs. In this role, you will build and execute a company-wide professional development strategy that contributes to our team's ongoing learning and growth. Within 1 month, you will:

  • Onboard and learn about Ellevation’s mission to improve outcomes for multilingual students.
  • Understand Ellevation’s values and how the People Team partners with internal teams to drive results.
  • Support the VP, People, in developing and delivering bi-monthly management training.
  • Develop relationships with key partners at our parent company, Curriculum Associates, and across Ellevation.
  • Develop a partnership with the internal Learn@Work committee

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Begin working with a cross-functional group to develop product and market certifications.
  • Lead the design and facilitation of bi-monthly manager training.
  • Own and facilitate ongoing Director programming.
  • Begin gaps analysis of onboarding programming.
  • Develop a deep partnership with our parent company, Curriculum Associates, and begin translating their learning programs to meet Ellevation’s needs.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Propose a long-term roadmap of professional development programs to be delivered regularly.
  • Assess the best method to deliver asynchronous learning content.
  • Deliver an initial set of product and market certifications in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
  • Begin developing Elevation-specific asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities that connect to the career matrices.
  • Make adjustments to ensure the right learning content is incorporated into the onboarding program.

Within 12 months, you will:

  • Make a measurable impact on the learning and growth of the team measured through surveys and performance-based assessments.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering innovative learning solutions to adults
  • 3+ years leading cross-functional projects or employee development
  • Ability to generate innovative solutions to new challenges and adapt to the changing needs of a complex organization
  • Demonstrated ability to apply expertise in adult learning to session design in various formats (ex: in-person learning, virtual learning, asynchronous courses)
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to effectively work with diverse personalities
  • Tenacity and perseverance to successfully deliver on priority outcomes
  • Desire to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with a broad spectrum of roles

  • Proven organization and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and retain new information quickly
