- Stage 1: Application Review - We'll assess your CV to see if your experience aligns with the Hitchhiker role. The team you'll be working with is involved in designing the recruitment process from Day 1!
- Stage 2: Psychometric and Technical Assessment - Upon successfully completing Stage 1, you'll be invited to complete a test to help us understand your mental and psychological fit to Farmz2u. In this stage, you would also be required to complete a technical test designed to assess your practical knowledge and expertise relevant to the Hitchhiker position. Think of it as a practical demonstration of your CV and details shared in your interviews.
- Stage 3: Culture Fit Interview - At this stage, we have a good sense of basic skills and experience. This Interview will be used to avoid any catfish situations so be sure what you have on your CV is accurate. We are serious about integrity, expect a targeted conversation with key team members.
- Stage 4: Founder Interview - This is the final stage where you would have a meeting with the founder to assess top performers against the company's vision and what contributions you can make to Farmz2U's mission. Note that elements from both interviews will drive the final stage.

Job Description

Role Purpose

This role's purpose is singular and non-negotiable: SELL, CLOSE DEALS, AND DRIVE REVENUE.

We are looking for a highly ambitious, results-obsessed, and relentlessly self-motivated individual whose sole measure of success is closed sales and new revenue models launched. You must be a versatile closer who thrives in a high-speed environment, capable of leading the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing with exceptional speed and effectiveness.

If you do not consistently close sales and hit aggressive targets, this job is not for you.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your core duties revolve around driving maximum sales velocity and generating new revenue streams:

1. High-Velocity Deal Closure and Revenue Generation

  • Aggressive Target Hitting: Own and exceed demanding monthly and quarterly sales targets across the agricultural supply chain (Growers, Suppliers, Buyers).

  • Rapid Deal Closing: Lead the full sales lifecycle from initial contact to final contract negotiation and signing with a focus on speed and efficiency. You are expected to move deals faster than the competition.

  • On-Ground Dominance: Spend significant time in the field, actively engaging potential clients, understanding their needs, and securing commitments immediately. Sales happen on the ground, not just from the office.

  • New Revenue Model Development: Actively identify, pilot, and scale new business and revenue models leveraging our tech platform to unlock untapped commercial opportunities.

2. Strategic Prospecting and Lead Ownership

  • Relentless Lead Generation: Proactively and aggressively hunt for high-value leads using market intelligence, cold outreach, and network expansion.

  • Qualification and Focus: Rapidly qualify prospects based on strict commercial criteria, ruthlessly prioritizing efforts on leads with the highest probability and value for immediate closure.

  • Pitch to Close: Develop and deliver compelling, customized sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the commercial value of our tech-enabled solutions.

3. Performance Leadership and Accountability

  • Metrics Ownership: Maintain absolute mastery of the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring every lead status, interaction, and forecast is accurate and reflects the urgent need to close.

  • Sales Performance Analysis: Constantly analyze conversion rates, deal velocity, and pipeline health to implement immediate adjustments needed to hit and exceed targets.

  • Cross-Functional Closing: Work closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth deal handover and flawless service delivery, maintaining client satisfaction to secure repeat business.

Working Relationships

  • Sales Team: Collaborate with other sales team members to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and alignment on sales objectives. Work together to ensure that marketing materials and strategies align with sales goals and are impactful for client engagement.

  • Product/Operations Teams: Partner with the operations and product teams to ensure that client feedback and requirements are communicated clearly and accurately.

  • Leadership Team: Provide regular reports and updates on business development performance to the management team to ensure alignment on strategic goals.


Requirements

Experience: The Non-Negotiables

  • 3-4+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrable, quantifiable track record of exceeding ambitious sales quotas and quickly closing high-value deals.

  • Proven success in high-velocity, full-cycle sales where personal effort and drive were the key determinants of success.

  • Experience in the B2B sector, Technology/SaaS, or Agriculture/Supply Chain is highly preferred, but aggressive sales success in any industry is paramount.

  • Self-Motivated Execution: Proven ability to manage a demanding schedule, generate your own opportunities, and lead the sales process autonomously.
