About Food for Education
Food for Education (F4E) is an African-led, women-led social enterprise that utilizes technology, efficient operations, and logistics to deliver low-cost, high-quality meals that enhance nutrition and educational outcomes for primary school children in Kenya.
We have delivered over 100 million meals since 2012, and our goal is to serve at least 1 million public primary school students in Kenya daily by 2027. Furthermore, we aim to feed an additional 2 million children in two other African countries by 2030 by sharing technical advice and best practices with African governments and other school feeding partners.
It’s an exciting time to join Food4Education as we embark on this growth trajectory to further our vision of a world where no child has to learn while hungry.

Our Values
At Food for Education, our values are guiding principles that provide us with purpose and direction and set the tone for our interactions with all stakeholders:
  • Build with excellence and curiosity - We’re not afraid to try new things and iterate as much as we can to find the best and most efficient way to get results;
  • Be the change you seek - We acknowledge that continuous improvement is a shared responsibility;
  • We do what we say, and say what we do - We embrace an ownership mentality;
  • Ask why, and commit- Share openly, question respectfully, and commit fully. When we understand the why, we are able to work with a purpose.

About the Internal Consulting Team
Food4Education’s Internal Consulting team is a new, high-leverage function designed to help the organization tackle its most complex challenges and scale strategically. The team acts as an internal accelerator, working on projects that range from improving kitchen operations and optimizing menus to strengthening strategic planning and organizational design.
Still in its early stages, the team offers a rare opportunity to help shape a high-impact function from the ground up. With executive backing and a bold vision, we’re building a team that is collaborative, data-driven, and deeply committed to making a meaningful impact.

About the role
As an Associate in Internal Consulting, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting strategic projects that help Food4Education scale with excellence. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Consulting, you’ll work with teams across the organization to deliver high-quality analysis, tools, and process improvements.
You’ll bring a sharp analytical mindset, an eye for detail, and a strong sense of ownership to each project - whether it’s helping to improve kitchen workflows, designing internal tracking tools, or supporting a cross-team pilot. You’ll also support the team in engaging internal stakeholders effectively, ensuring the work is collaborative, responsive, and aligned with our broader goals.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who is eager to grow their strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement skills in a mission-driven environment.
