Secondment Objectives:
Reporting to the Global Director of Online Learning, the AI Implementation Specialist will play a key role in advancing AI-driven practices across the organization. This role will strengthen and formalize how AI tools support learning design and instructional workflows, helping teams work more efficiently and reducing the time required for core tasks such as lesson plan creation, review, and competency-based assessment setup. These improvements will help lower design costs and allow instructional designers to focus on more strategic priorities.
The specialist will also contribute directly to learner success by developing and deploying initiatives that are learner-facing and aligned with both AI advancements and Generation’s strategy. Current initiatives include assistant teacher bots that support faster query resolution, an AI-powered podcast tool to enhance engagement and interactivity, and an AI role-play coach to create realistic practice scenarios. The role will also play a key role in supporting the exploration of adaptive and personalised learning journeys for Generation programs.
In addition, the role will serve as a collaborative partner for idea generation, workflow problem-solving, and training teams on tools such as ChatGPT, HeyGen, and Zapier, strengthening organizational confidence and capability in the effective use of AI. By optimizing AI integration across the organization, the specialist will help ensure that Generation remains at the forefront of AI-enabled learning.
Once new AI-enabled processes and tools have been validated through smaller pilots, the specialist will also lead efforts to scale these solutions to country teams. This includes capturing key learnings, developing clear implementation guides, and supporting rollout to ensure consistent adoption and high-quality execution across the network.
Beyond these responsibilities, the role will contribute to cross-functional AI initiatives, including ideation and proposal development for funding opportunities.
This is a remote role, with a strong preference for candidates with Curriculum and Instruction experience and context of Generation’s product development. The role can be based in any of Generation’s current global affiliate countries.
This is a full-time 12-month secondment opportunity at 20 hours per week, ideally starting on January 2, 2026 and ending on December 24, 2026.
