The Opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University’s School of Business is looking for Adjunct Instructors for our Economics program starting Spring, 2024. Adjunct instructors will teach several courses on our main campus onsite in Manchester, NH and will have the opportunity to design course material to achieve the learning outcomes. Courses are typically twice a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes, Monday through Friday. The following disciplines are being offered:

ECO201 - Microeconomics

This course examines the role of economic systems in allocating scarce resources to satisfy the needs and wants of individual members of a society. After a brief exposure to alternative economic systems, the focus becomes the nature and performance of American capitalism. Primary emphasis is placed upon the development of models that explain the behavior of consumers, producers and resource suppliers in various market structures. You will report to the Associate Dean of the School of Business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Teach courses as scheduled

· Access student work and provide prompt feedback

· Use the program’s online Learning Management System to support the course

· Develop course material to achieve learning outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in the course discipline or a related discipline.

· 3+ years of professional experience in a related field

· Experience teaching courses at the college level
