The Opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University’s School of Business is looking for Adjunct Instructors for our Finance program starting Spring, 2024. Adjunct instructors will teach a wide variety of courses on our main campus, onsite in Manchester, NH and will have the opportunity to design course material to achieve the learning outcomes. Courses are typically once a week for 2 hours and 45 minutes, Monday through Friday. You will report to the Associate Dean of the School of Business. The following disciplines are being offered:

FIN-610 Short-Term Management-

The course covers traditional working capital topics, including liquidity analysis and management, inventory, and receivables and payables management. Additional emphasis is given to core cash management, payment systems and banking relationships. Other topics include cash forecasting, short-term borrowing and risk management.

FIN-640 Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management-

Students study the techniques used to assess the value of securities and the methods used in the management of investment portfolios. Stocks and bonds are discussed in terms of valuation, risk- return measurement, diversification and other aspects of portfolio theory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Teach courses as scheduled

· Access student work and provide prompt feedback

· Use the program’s online Learning Management System to support the course

· Develop course material to achieve learning outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in the course discipline or a related discipline.

· 3+ years of professional experience in a related field

· Experience teaching courses at the college level
