The Opportunity
Southern New Hampshire is looking for a Director of Marketing Automation. You will help drive adoption of marketing automation through the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and launch industry-leading engagement strategies to help our learners. You will directly impact satisfaction and enrollment rates that will then be measured and aimed towards application rate improvement. This is a performance role and a performance improvement role. You also manage the internal relationship management with the teams it supports.
You will:
- Promote adoption within the University-Wide marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Support the refinement and monitoring of marketing automation KPI's to drive growth through a performance marketing mindset.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to help design multi-channel engagement strategies.
- Oversee all communications from initial inquiry all the way through when they become students and the strategy around it.
- Support a best-in-class Marketing Automation QA process to ensure accurate delivery of communications from Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Help drive best practices within the Marketing Automation platform and surrounding marketing technology solutions.
- Champion international email compliance initiatives, within Marketing Cloud, to support CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with the marketing automation teams, and with internal stakeholders, to adapt and support of student/prospect communications, with an eye towards optimizing student experience through relevance and personalization.
- Communicate complex ideas and processes to business stakeholders.
- Help with daily operations within Marketing Cloud, including compliance, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
- Other responsibilities or activities may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree and four years of marketing automation experience (example: SFMC, Marketo, Eloqua).
- HSD/GED and equivalent of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- Four years of experience managing marketing technology solutions, and two years of CRM experience (preferably Salesforce).
- 1+ years working enterprise-level businesses.
- Two years in the Business to consumer (B2C) space (higher education experience a plus).
- Hands on email marketing, landing page, SQL, and automation building experience in Marketing Cloud.
- Understand and anticipate dependencies across complex systems.
- Expertise in marketing automation best practices, in the higher education space a plus
