Job Description

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking an outgoing Student Worker for our Main Campus location to serve as a Customer Service Representative assisting with several aspects of the day-to-day front desk operations of the Career & Professional Development Center. Experience with customer service, basic computer and telephone skills, and ability to multi-task is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Positively represent the Career and Professional Development Center, which includes a professional appearance during all shifts and events
  • Greet students, staff, and visitors to our office
  • Answer, direct and manage phone calls
  • Schedule and check-in student appointments
  • Data entry
  • Provide assistance with administrative projects as needed
  • Assist with event preparation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate Day Program at SNHU
  • Work Study as part of financial aid package
  • Basic computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior customer service and/or office work experience is a plus

Work Hours:

The office is opened 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. All shifts will be given depending on student’s class schedule. Hours will not exceed 20 hours per week. Occasional evening hours for office events.
