The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a student employee to serve as a Personal Trainer responsible for leading fitness orientations, conducting fitness assessments, and developing personal fitness programs for individuals and small groups. This position will be responsible for interacting with the SNHU Community.

Position Overview:

Personal trainers are responsible for:

· Analyze clients’ fitness and body composition levels

· Creating personalized exercise routines to improve overall health

· Setting fitness goals and monitoring clients’ progress

· Educating clients’ on proper use and technique of fitness center equipment

Minimum Qualifications

· Enrolled in a degree program at SNHU

· Work-Study as part of the financial aid offer

· Has current nationally accredited personal training certification

· CPR/AED certification (will be provided if not current)

Hours: Personal Trainers can expect to work 10-15 hours per week (depending on availability). Shift times vary based on department needs with most hours taking place in the evenings or weekends.
