The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Student Worker as a Community Coordinator for the Honors Program and School of Business. This position plays an integral role in increasing the awareness and visibility of the Honors Program and School of Business. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director on administrative duties related to building relationships with community partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular communication to community partners, faculty, and Honors Advisory Board regarding project updates
  • Serve as main point of contact for students working on assigned community projects
  • Create and design the weekly announcements and update email
  • Write and design email blasts and weekly updates emailed to students
  • Research, write and design weekly SNHU Community blog content
  • Create and manage online/social media accounts as needed
  • Assist with event planning including implementation and orchestration
  • Create and design info-graphics, surveys, and other marketing/promotional materials as needed
  • General office administrative tasks (i.e. photocopying, filing, mailings)
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU
  • Work Study as part of their financial aid package
  • Strong marketing, writing and communication skills
  • Strong graphic design, editing and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
  • Energetic, outgoing and friendliness
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Ability to work well with people in a team-oriented workplace setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft platforms

Work Hours:

Schedule can vary based on availability and can occur Mon-Fri 8am-10pm.
