The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University’s traditional campus is currently seeking a team manager to support the varsity Esports program. The Esports Team Manager will work closely with one of our five Varsity teams and be responsible for all scheduling of scrimmages, practices, and coordination with opposing teams for these purposes. In addition, they will work with the Esports Operations Manager to coordinate time in the arena for their team. They will work as a member of the Esports Operations team handling all logistics for their team and act as a liaison to the Esports Content team to coordinate live broadcasts. In addition, they will work with the coach of their Varsity Esports team to assist in the management of that team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of all competitive events and practices for one of our Varsity teams.
  • Standardization and synchronization of all schedules for one of our Varsity teams.
  • Strategy and execution of scrimmage and practice matchups.
  • Recording of scrimmage and match results.
  • Gather and provide scouting information to coaches for each match.
  • Coordination with the Esports Content Team to develop stream assets and content opportunities.
  • Distribution of information for all SNHU Esports events.
  • Participation as a member of the SNHU Esports Operations Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate program at SNHU
  • Strong social media knowledge
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Respectfulness and exceptional communication skills
  • Experience with various technologies including Twitch and Discord
  • Work Study as part of financial aid package
  • Understanding/interest in one of the five games (Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, Valorant, League of Legends, Overwatch)

Work Hours:

Flexible shift hours between 8:00am-10:00pm
