This position is based in the following office location:

The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is seeking a Club Ultimate Coach. The Coach will instruct the club according to the skill level of the club members to develop skills ranging from beginner to advanced. You will report to the Campus Recreation Administrator. "#LI-Onsite"

What you'll do:

• Coach/Instruct the club according to the SNHU rules and all applicable associations as set forth by the Sports Club Handbook
• Understand all emergency and safety procedures about equipment, rental and travel management following the Sports Club Handbook
• Mentor all members and encourage participation
• Support and give guidance in recruiting new members to participate and join the club
• Instruct all participants on proper technique and ways to improve in the given sport
• Attend and conduct all practices and competitions
• Arrive on time and organize practice sessions
• Be chaperone for all travel games and must act following all travel guidelines as set forth by the Office of Student Involvement

What we're looking for:

• High School diploma and 1 year of coaching experience or playing experience, preferably in the sport of Ultimate
• Experience working and managing a team
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (Willing to train if candidate does not hold current certification)

Work Hours: Will depend on length of season. Week nights and weekends will be needed.
