The opportunity

Reporting to the Sr. People Experience Program and Inclusion Manager, you will help guide new employees through the First Year Experience ensuring their successful integration into our organization. As an onboarding specialist, you will coordinate and facilitate the Day One Experience. Additionally, you will help new employees cultivate connections with one another, promoting collaboration, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging within our organization.

What you'll do:

  • Own facilitation for Monday HR Orientation with multiple departments.
  • Help manage the new hire cohort Microsoft Teams Channel and SharePoint site (send communications, update events calendar, monitor and facilitate discussions).
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, providing guidance to new hires throughout the First Year Experience.
  • Work in partnership with communications and branding department to develop onboarding materials consistent with the First Year Experience brand identity.
  • Partner with the Sr. People Experience and Inclusion Program Manager to identify creative new ways to onboard new employees during their first week.
  • Partner with the Sr. Program Manager to develop events related to service recognition, wellbeing, employee networks and employee engagement tools for new employees.
  • Serve on the Governance Committee and provide recommendations on optimization areas.

What we're looking for:

  • 1 year of experience in related position
  • Associate degree in human resources, social sciences, organizational psychology or other related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
