The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University’s Office of Sustainability is seeking students who are interested in supporting the sustainability goals, programs, and initiatives campus wide.

You will be required to work on the Good Stuff campaign which extends a week after the school year ends, and the week of December 25.

We are currently seeking two students to fill our general Eco Rep openings, who will work on various projects such as waste auditing, surplus services, data collection, report writing, composting, Campus Race to Zero Waste, program development and implementation, and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work with various stakeholders (ie. students, staff, faculty, community members)
  • Working on specific projects for the Office of Sustainability as they arise
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Motivated and positive, can-do attitude!
  • Willingness to have fun and work well with our team
  • Able to lift 25 pounds
  • Able to work in all weather

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at Southern New Hampshire University
  • Driver’s License Preferred, not required

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
