The opportunity
The Coordinator of the Office of Student Involvement is a part-time role (20-25 hours per week) responsible for ensuring a quality student experience for our online and campus student life. You will ensure a engaging offering of night, weekend, holiday, and high-risk programming for students across all modalities. The Coordinator promotes the department and involvement opportunities to students through supplemental support in leadership development programs, virtual and pop-up events, and club collaboration nights.
What you'll do:
- Curate and coordinate the posting of online group, club/organization events in Blackthorn and the Student Events Master Calendar
- Help with SNHUconnect community moderation
- Support oversight, management, and training of the new online specialized interest groups
- Help with the planning engaging events, including online student socials/events and hybrid joint campus and online club events
- Host online and campus late night and weekend programming, specifically during dates and times not traditionally filled by clubs and departments
- Coordinate campus-wide late night and weekend programming for high-risk dates (St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, etc.)
- Help with virtual and in-person office and event coverage through email response, phone calls, webinars, and SNHUconnect
- Plan and complete club collaboration monthly meetings for student club/organization leaders
- Support mailing prizes for online clubs/organizations, and purchasing for campus clubs/organizations
- Meet with online clubs outside of traditional department hours to answer questions, check-in, and provide resources, in addition to attending each club's meeting once per election cycle
- Help with leadership development opportunities to all club leaders and members including training and support to include Fall Leadership Conference and roundtable events
- Help with off-campus trip chaperoning
- Represent the department through tabling at Open Houses, Accepted Students Day, and Orientation Programs
- Support departmental programs and events, and institutional traditions such as commencement and related events
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What we are looking for:
- 2 Years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree required in related field
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent time management skills
- Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $21.89 - $35.03. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $24.19 - $32.73.
