The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking ten student employees to fill the position of Mail Clerk. The Mail Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all University mail and packages while also providing customer service to students and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist students and staff with pickups and drop offs
- Answer mailroom phone: may include SNHU switchboard
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Must be comfortable with use of technology to perform job
- Ability to lift packages up to 40lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Previous mail room experience using postage meter and handheld scanners

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
