The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Jayme's Fund Program Assistant in Windham, NH. This student will perform administrative tasks related to the organization such as using fundraising software and maintaining data base; administration of scholarship awards. Writing social media posts and blogs. This position is hybrid, most days are remote. However, one day a month the student will go into the Windham office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Varies administrative tasks working with fundraising software and Constant Contact Marketing tools
- Work with social media specialist to maintain social media presence; assist with Jayme’s Bears events as scheduled
- Assist in writing content for social media, blogs and annual newsletter
- Leadership opportunities if interested
- Contribute ideas and creativity

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Reliable transportation
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Understands and will learn best practices in promoting social media
- Able to work independently as well as with supervision
- Excellent writing skills a plus
- Willing to learn email marketing through Constant Contact and Network for Good fundraising software
- Interest or experience in human service field and social justice issues
- Knowledge and experience writing and posting social media posts
- Interest in learning and contributing to a non -profit to make the world a better place!
- Creative ideas and skills a plus!
Learning Outcomes:
To provide a mutually positive and beneficial experience for students to acquire and learn new skills while contributing to the mission of Jayme’s Fund through administrative support and involvement. Learn to use marketing and fundraising software; improve writing skills, learn how non-profits operate and contribute to the community; experience a community service event from planning to execution, experience a community of people who are passionate about making the world a better place!
Work Schedule: Remote and some in-person, Windham office 1 day per month(2-4 hours)

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
