The opportunity

As the Program Director, Public Health, you are responsible for program alignment with both the SNHU mission and systems. You will develop curriculum for assigned programs and ensure that courses are developed to meet professional standards. Curriculum development includes program and course outcomes, evaluation metrics for assessments and program outcomes, and designing options for completing practice experience hours. You are qualified to design, manage, and teach in the subject areas related to the assigned program oversight. You will report to the Executive Director, Health Professions.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct the daily operation of assigned program.

  • Manage full-time faculty teaching in assigned program tracks.

  • Manage Academic Partners.

  • Oversee adjunct faculty regarding content specific accuracy of announcements, feedback, and grading.

  • Contribute to student recruitment, admissions, and progressions processes.

  • Evaluate the program, faculty, and student outcomes, including updating, collecting, and evaluating data.

  • Oversee program curriculum to ensure it includes courses and content that is current in consideration of industry standards/employment opportunities, and CEPH criteria.

  • Monitor and report on accreditation standards.

  • Develop, revise, and evaluate curriculum observing CEPH accreditation standards.

  • Support the accreditation process for annual reviews, self-studies, and new track development.

  • Assist the Executive Director with program budget requests.

  • Lead the MPH Curriculum and Evaluation Committee in compliance to CEPH standard

  • Establish partnerships to further the mission of the program.

  • Management of people and processes are essential functions of this role

What we're looking for:

  • Doctoral degree required

  • Masters OR Doctorate required to be from a CEPH accredited school or program

  • 3+ years of acedemic leadership experience

  • 2+ years of public health field experience

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $91,388.00 - $146,247.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $100,983.00 - $136,624.00.
