The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of MFA Residency Assistant. The Residency Assistant is a role corresponding to the weeklong Mountainview MFA in winter 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with set-up for program events
  • Organizing informal social activities for students throughout the week
  • Collecting images and video from Residency participants for the program's slideshow
  • Organizing and moderating student readings, including the Cheese & Cheese event
  • Assisting the Residency Coordinator with small tasks as they arise

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in the SNHU Mountainview MFA program
  • Attending winter 2025 MFA Residency in person
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
