The opportunity

Hours: Will vary during the week of April 18th- April 30th 2022

10-20 hours a week

Sunday-Saturday: 9:00am-10:00pm- Mostly Monday-Friday.

Job Summary:

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking 1 Student Worker as a Good Stuff Ambassador on campus. Ambassadors are students who work towards the accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the Office of Sustainability through collecting and sorting donated items for preparation to donate to local non-profits. This position is open to any SNHU UC student and is not restricted to residents, commuter students are welcome too. Preferred: valid driver’s license. Possible van certification for transportation of items on campus may be required.

Food and fun event! You can take any donations you want while you work!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support donation process by clarifying student donation process to interested parties.
• Be willing to walking across campus with donations in moving bins if not driving.
• Manage time to sort donated items properly.
• Willingness to work shifts during finals week.
• Be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Motivated and positive, can do attitude!
• Willingness to have fun and work well with a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a full-time undergraduate student at Southern New Hampshire University

Preferred Qualifications:

• Be capable of lifting 25+ pound items.
• SNHU Driver certified preferred; willing to be trained
• Working in all weather conditions

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
