This position will be partially based in the following office location:

Manchester, NH

For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.

The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is looking for a collaborative team player to fill the position of Cross-Functional Operations Coordinator I for the Office of The University Registrar. You will be asked to contribute to the effective and efficient operation of our Cross Functional Operations team. The Cross Functional Operations Team supports the Office of the University Registrar specialized teams with daily tasks, including peak volume times, to uphold the learner first customer mindset. You will ensure best practices, which includes use of our available tools, university systems and policies. You will report to the Senior Assistant Registrar.

This is a dual-place position. You will work on our Manchester, NH campus 1-2 days per week.

What you'll do:

  • Provide customer service while serving on the “front lines” of the Office of the University Registrar as the full-time generalist of the office.

  • Act as the “Go to Person” (G2P) and answer incoming phone calls for the main Registrar telephone line.

  • Speak to a wide variety of topics across functions, including calendars and dates, grades, registration, enrollment, transfer credits, program modifications, program evaluations, conferral, commencement, etc.

  • Distribute incoming inquiries from students and staff. This includes using different technological platforms such as the SNHU Service Portal, customer resource manager (CRM) and student information system.

  • Complete different tasks for Registrar teams, including enrollment verifications, diploma name and address changes, etc.

  • Maintain G2P documentation to ensure accurate and information is provided to all employees. Make necessary updates to documentation.

  • Provide support to Registrar teams with special projects and data entry.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned. Job responsibilities can change at any time.

What we're looking for:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Two successful years of experience working in a customer service setting.

  • Experience complete tasks using a variety of computer-based technologies.

  • Familiarity with Student Information Systems is helpful.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.94 - $27.11. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $18.72 - $25.32.
