The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Data Assistant for our partner organization Friends of Aine in Manchester, NH. This position will help build a temporary database for the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build reports, dashboards, power queries, pivot tables and more
- Clean, organize, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with team members to identify key metrics and data requirements
- Assist in automating repetitive data tasks using Excel formulas or macros
- Perform regular data quality checks and troubleshoot discrepancies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Reliable transportation
- Microsoft Excel knowledge
Learning Outcomes:
- Gain experience in database design and implementation.
- Develop skills in advanced Excel features, including Power Query and PivotTables.
- Learn best practices for data management, cleaning, and visualization.
- Collaborate on real-world data projects with a professional Data Analyst.
Work Schedule:
- 2-5 hours per week, primarily Mondays, flexible

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
