The opportunity

The Student Portal Content Specialist is responsible the content development of SNHU's student-facing portal. Specifically, this role plays a hands-on, critical, role in conceiving, writing, and publishing content and helps manage content planning and scheduling as well as measuring traffic and engagement. #LI-Remote

In this role, you will:

  • Provide a unified and organized view of learner portal content across departments and place a high focus on maintaining brand consistency and integration with message, tone, and voice.
  • Manage an accessible content calendar with publish date schedules and target audiences.
  • Develop and publish brand-appropriate, engaging, student-facing content representative of all interests and departments.
  • Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders across all student-facing departments to identify content needs and audience segmentation.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to brand guidelines based on established governance plan, including accuracy in audience targeting and content delivery.
  • Comply with robust CMS quality assurance and publishing process.
  • Support ongoing portal maintenance including routine updates and adjustments based on learner engagement.
  • Monitor student engagement and portal traffic metrics.
  • Develop and share monthly engagement and traffic reports to inform strategy and content adjustments.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Three years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field (such as journalism, creative writing, or graphic design).
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to provide a shared understanding across departments and teams.
  • An understanding of the student life cycle, and a desire to grow as part of an integrated team.
  • Experience in CMS, CRM, and student engagement platforms.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in managing and maintaining focus on key projects.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Experience understanding and using data and analytics.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $53,156.00 - $85,068.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $58,738.00 - $79,470.00.
