This position is based in the following office location:
Manchester, NHThe opportunity
Join our Facilities team as a University Carpenter. You will apply your trade expertise across a broad range of work while being an important partner to our trades and facilities personnel, working collaboratively to maintain the standards of our campus community. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that is located on our main campus in Manchester, NH and will report to our Carpentry Services Manager.
What you'll do:
Complete corrective and preventive maintenance work orders across campus buildings and facilities
Install and repair windows, doors, and door hardware
Frame walls using both metal and wood construction methods
Install sheetrock, apply joint compound, and perform interior finishing and painting
Repair and install ceiling grid systems and tiles
Maintain and repair building envelopes, including roofing systems (rubber membrane, asphalt shingle, metal, and slate)
Inspect roofs and perform leak repairs
Participate in snow removal operations, including equipment plowing, shoveling, salting walkways, and clearing roofs and scuppers
Participate in on-call maintenance emergency response on a rotating basis with other trades staff
Work outdoors in varied weather conditions and from heights (ladders, aerial lifts, and rooftops)
Participate in technical and Human Resources training
Take on additional maintenance responsibilities as the team's needs evolve
What we're looking for:
3–5 years of commercial and/or residential carpentry experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid operator/driver's license
Proficiency with power and hand tools and commitment to safe working practices, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $21.09 - $33.76. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $23.32 - $31.54.Exceptional benefits (because you’re exceptional)
