The opportunity
The Information Security Support Analyst I will report to the Deputy CISO. You will be responsible for security consulting and promoting security best practice and raising awareness about security and risks to the University business and technical partners. You will conduct security assessments and analysis on third-party vendors, and product and processes used and maintained by the university. Your analysis will be communicated to and used by decision makers and University leadership to make informed risk decisions. The Information Security Support Analyst I role collects and analyzes data in complex, virtualized, multi-site, and dynamic computing environments. The Information Security Support Analyst I role communicates risks and security control gaps to service owners and decision makers for risk management.
You will work 100% remotely from any of our approved states. #LI-Remote
What You'll Do:
- Perform information security risk analysis and risk management processes and technologies
- Provide research and operational support to teams within Information Security Management
- Work with cross-functional teams for several initiatives
- Help with reporting and metrics
- Assisting with central intake, triage requests, and tickets
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in Information Security
- High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
- Professional certification(s): Security+ certification or equivalent (or the ability to obtain in the first 6 months of employment)
- Experience with information security topics and concepts
- Experience with ticket management systems such as ServiceNow

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $64,283.00 - $102,872.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $71,033.00 - $96,103.00.Exceptional benefits (because you’re exceptional)
