The Grants Manager plays a key role in the stewardship of prospective and existing grants and is responsible for the effective management and control of grants obtained by GHC. This role serves as the lead grant writer, primary administrative contact, and internal coordinator of all grant activities. The Grants Manager proactively develops strong relationships with key staff across teams to ensure authentic and compelling proposals and reports, and facilitates appropriate grant submission and reporting, which contributes to high-quality stewardship with GHC funders. Working closely with the Senior Director of Development and communications, the Grants Manager evaluates grant opportunities as part of the fundraising process and ensures strong proposal submissions. The Grants Manager serves as a crucial member of GHC’s fundraising team, telling the story of the impact of great leadership on health equity and ensuring our movement is powered forward. The Grants Manager also owns a portfolio of existing donors, prospects, and leads and is tasked with developing strategies to renew, upgrade, and convert donors and prospects.
