  • Support and enable the work of the Harambee Executive Management Team (Exco),
    including the Office of the CEO.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Exco.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Represent Harambee as a liaison with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and coordinate diaries for Exco.
  • Assist with preparation for all Board meetings.
  • Organise logistical (venue, catering, audio visual equipment, travel etc.) and other
    requirements (distribution of agenda, meeting minutes, reading material) for meetings
    convened by Exco.
  • Plan business trips for Exco, including travel and accommodation, in a cost-effective way.
  • Assist with compiling internal and external communications (emails, reports, presentations
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support, as needed.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive documentation appropriately and with integrity.
  • Assist with the coordination, receipt, checking and submission of invoices and expense
  • Ensure cost efficiency in all Harambee activities.
  • Monitor deadlines for key deliverables.
  • In consultation with each responsible Exco member, disseminate information,
    correspondence and/or documents on their behalf.
  • Screen and deal with (action/reply/redirect) incoming and outgoing correspondence,
    enquiries and requests.
  • Whatever else needed to deliver results!

  • Matric (Grade 12) and relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Executive Assistance or similar experience, supporting multiple
    senior managers/executives.
  • Have advanced proficiency in MS Office – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Be reliable and passionate about great service.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
