Description
  • Lead the planning, execution and reporting of all types of research activities undertaken by the team.
  • Produce research frameworks which clearly outline the objectives and outcomes of the research. This also includes methodological decisions on study type, locations, sample size etc. 
  • Develop survey questionnaires, decide the data collection methods and remotely monitor the data being collected.
  • Basic cleaning and analysis of survey data.
  • Efficiently document qualitative data for reports and other impact communication materials. 
  • Conduct literature reviews efficiently to gather relevant information and summarize and synthesize facts. 
  • Strategize assessment reports and independently produce excellent knowledge products. 
  • Carry out translation, transcribing and proofreading documents when required. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Economics, Development Studies, Statistics or Environmental Studies. 
  • At least one year of relevant working experience involving research, assessments and reporting.
  • At least one publication, preferably as the lead author of a research article in a reputed journal.
  • Advanced understanding of research methodologies.
  • Must be able to portray skills of compiling and analyzing qualitative data. 
  • Skills in quantitative data analysis using STATA or R will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, critical thinking, investigative and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bangla.
  • Must be able to complete given assignments without supervision. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and engage in multiple priorities.
