Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead the planning, execution and reporting of all types of research activities undertaken by the team.
  2. Produce research frameworks which clearly outline the objectives and outcomes of the research. This also includes methodological decisions on study type, locations, sample size etc.
  3. Develop survey questionnaires, decide the data collection methods and remotely monitor data collection.
  4. Advanced data cleaning and analysis.
  5. Conduct literature reviews efficiently to gather relevant information and summarize and synthesize facts.
  6. Be in-charge of the team’s knowledge management strategy. This includes defining how the team will capture, store, share and utilize information.
  7. Efficiently document qualitative data for reports and other communication materials.
  8. Strategize assessment reports and independently produce excellent knowledge

Requirements

  1. Advanced understanding of research methodologies.
  2. Must be able to portray skills of compiling and analyzing qualitative data.
  3. Must be able to enlighten the team with trends and projections by analyzing data, using advanced statistical tools.
  4. Excellent in data management.
  5. Must be familiar with developing and managing dashboards.
  6. Prior experience of providing statistical and methodological support in conducting hypothesis tests and RCTs will be an added advantage.
  7. Must be able to meet deadlines and engage in multiple priorities.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication, both in English and Bangla.
  9. Having prior experience in field research activities will be advantageous.
  10. Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, critical thinking, investigative and decision making skills.
  11. Master's/Bachelor's degree in Economics, Development Studies, Social Science, Anthropology, Statistics or Environmental Studies.
  12. Minimum two years of relevant working experience involving research, assessments, data analysis and reporting.
