Role Summary
The National Sales Manager, Agri Input (seeds, pesticide, feed, agri-machinery) Business will lead the national sales strategy, distribution expansion, and revenue growth for iFarmer’s input portfolio, including partner/co-branded and iFarmer-owned products. The role is responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening channel networks, ensuring collection discipline, and building a high-performing field organization.
Key Responsibilities:
National Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the national sales strategy aligned with business and margin objectives.
Set annual, quarterly, and monthly targets across value, volume, and contribution metrics.
Drive portfolio mix optimization across crops, regions, and product categories.
Target Allocation & Performance Management
Translate national targets into region-wise and area-wise execution plans.
Monitor KPIs for Regional Sales Managers and Area Managers and implement corrective actions.
Ensure disciplined forecasting and pipeline visibility.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Regional Sales Managers, Area Managers, and field teams.
Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and structured execution.
Support hiring, capability building, and performance reviews.
Market Expansion & Revenue Growth
Identify new geographies, crops, and product opportunities.
Drive growth for both partner/co-branding products and iFarmer’s own brands.
Support new channel models including LSPs, institutional sales, and aggregator networks.
Channel & Partner Management
Oversee distributor, dealer, retailer, and institutional partner networks.
Ensure optimal coverage, partner productivity, and compliance with commercial policies.
Strengthen partner engagement and retention.
Sales Operations & Process Excellence
Establish standardized sales SOPs, reporting frameworks, and execution cadence.
Improve demand forecasting accuracy and inventory alignment with Supply Chain.
Ensure visibility of scheme performance and ROI.
Promotion & Campaign Execution
Data, Reporting & Insights
Analyze sales performance, market intelligence, and field feedback.
Present structured performance reviews and action plans to senior leadership.
Collection & Risk Management
Ensure timely receivables collection and credit discipline across regions.
Monitor exposure limits, partner risk, and scheme liabilities.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Product, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Digital teams to ensure smooth execution and scale.
Additional Requirements
8–12 years of relevant job experience
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
Deep understanding of Bangladesh agri-input market and crop cycles
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and execution skills
Willingness to travel extensively
