Job Overview
The Data & Research Analyst is responsible for designing and conducting research, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and generating actionable insights to measure ifarmer's impact and support strategic decision-making. The role develops research methodologies, manages data quality, prepares impact reports, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive evidence-based improvements across the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Define comprehensive metrics and measurement approaches that capture the impact of ifarmer's operations.
- Develop comprehensive research plans - detailing the methodological approach.
- Design data collection methodology and survey questionnaires that effectively capture the necessary data for analysis.
- Perform secondary research efficiently, synthesizing key facts and insights from relevant sources.
- Document qualitative and quantitative data in a structured manner while maintaining thorough pre and post-processing strategies.
- Apply advanced data cleaning techniques to remove errors, inconsistencies, missing values or anomalies in the data.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and interpreting the results using statistical testing in alignment with the research objectives.
- Implement data-driven forecasting methodologies and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work with the team to strategize and independently produce well-structured assessment reports representing the impact of the organization.
- Strategize with the team to find significant gaps in previous approaches and plan accordingly to bring innovative solutions to drive greater impacts by the organizations.
Education: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or any relevant engineering.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience involving research, assessments, data analysis, business growth performance and reporting.
Technical skills:
- Must be able to portray skills of compiling and analyzing qualitative data.
- Must be able to enlighten the team with trends and projections by analyzing data, using advanced statistical tools.
- Excellent in data management.
- Must be familiar with developing and managing dashboards.
- Prior experience of providing statistical and methodological support in conducting hypothesis tests and RCTs will be an added advantage.
Other attributes
- Must be able to meet deadlines and engage in multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, both in English and Bangla.
- Having prior experience in field research activities will be advantageous.
- Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, critical thinking, investigative and decision making skills.
