Role Overview
Indus Action is keen to hire for the Cluster Lead position within RTE Engagements, within the RTE-POD function. The joinee will spearhead strategic engagement with the internal team, Central and State Governments and the key eco-system partners in the eco-system to advance the effective implementation of the Right to Education (RTE) Act. This role is responsible for building and nurturing high-impact government relationships, unlocking breakthroughs in system-level education reform, and driving cross-state advocacy and strategic collaborations to realise RTE’s mandate nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively build and manage strong relationships with state governments, education departments, and statutory bodies to secure RTE implementation breakthroughs and policy wins.
- Engage with a diverse set of actors, including government officials, civil society partners, academia, and multilateral agencies, to foster collaboration and shared ownership of systemic reforms.
- Design and facilitate cross-state knowledge-sharing, technical partnerships, and capacity-building to replicate and scale RTE best practices.
- Drive high-quality, evidence-based advocacy campaigns for RTE, influencing policy decisions and legislative reforms at the state and national levels.
- Develop and implement data-backed strategies, leveraging research, analytics, and field insights to ensure targeted and measurable progress in RTE enforcement.
- Identify structural bottlenecks and collaborate with government and civil society to co-create solutions that enable sustainable and scalable education reforms.
- Oversee process compliance, track key outcome indicators, and report on progress against RTE benchmarks to internal and external stakeholders.
Benefits
Compensation
The Cluster Lead will be compensated between INR 10-16 lacs per annum based on educational qualifications and past experiences. Other benefits include family Health Insurance, Professional Development Allowance, Travel Allowance, and EPF.
Indus Action doesn’t provide laptops to employees; however, it bears certain technical maintenance costs, up to INR 12,000 per annum.
