Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time engineer to develop next-gen platforms. We’re looking for exceptional candidates who are excited about the opportunity to build a next-generation GovTech. The incumbent should be passionate about building awesome products by utilising cutting-edge technologies, thereby creating value for citizens. You will shape the company’s current and future product development by converting the product roadmap into a reality. You must be passionate about tackling complex challenges faced by product development organisations. Role and Responsibilities (KRAs)

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the platform, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and documentation to track progress and ensure transparency.

  • You will own the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of applications built on Laravel, Angular, and related technologies.

  • Own architecture decisions for features/modules, including API and database schema design.

  • Write clean, tested, production-ready code and enforce code quality rigorous testing standards.

  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the platform, including performance and scalability bottlenecks.

  • Ensure high-quality project deliverables through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and learning.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.

  • Support the transition of projects from development to production, ensuring smooth handover and operational readiness.


Requirements

Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Proven experience as a Sr. Senior Software Engineer, with a focus on developing API-first Laravel and Angular projects.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

  • Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise project documentation.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams effectively and stakeholders.

Compensation

The Sr. Software Development Engineer will be compensated based on Indus Action ‘s compensation bench marking rubric. The compensation range will be based on qualifications, experience, and role fit.
