ABOUT THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Training Manager, the Senior Trainer will implement Inkomoko training for a variety of businesses across Jamjang.This position is based in Jamjang. Specific responsibilities include:

TRAINING IMPLEMENTATION (90%)

  • Manage all Camp trainings for all incoming clients (both Host & refugee clients)
  • Implement training as part of the ongoing class schedule for Inkomoko clients.
  • Implement training for Inkomoko partners.
  • Support the Training Manager to modify any training curriculum needed, including supplementary materials (tool kits, case studies, etc)
  • Coordinate with Marketing/communications efforts about the trainings to clients and partners to ensure full participation

OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION (10% time)

  • Record billable hours and activities in organizational tracking systems (Odoo, etc)
  • Work with the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager to ensure trainings are assessed for impact and value to entrepreneurs
  • Coordinate with the Training Support Associate and other training staff or instructors for smooth logistics
  • Attend all Company-wide meetings and maintain organizational values in all situations

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Skills qualifications include:

  • Understanding of business concepts (finance, HR, marketing, human centered design) and be able to teach these concepts to adult learners in non-traditional settings
  • Undergraduate degree a must, advanced degree in business is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of training, public speaking, or understanding of adult education/learning
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate to diverse audiences
  • Experience with Human Centered Design
  • Candidates must possess excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office
  • 3+ years experience working with entrepreneurs, business development or training/teaching
  • Willingness to travel across South Sudan to implement training.
  • MUST be fluency in English and Arabic
