As part of strengthening its IT infrastructure and business continuity framework, Inkomoko seeks to establish a robust Disaster Recovery (DR) environment to support operations across multiple countries.

To achieve this, Inkomoko intends to procure a high-performance enterprise-grade rack server to serve as the central DR node.

OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

The objective of this procurement is to acquire a high-specification, reliable, and scalable rack server that will support disaster recovery operations and ensure system redundancy across all country offices.

SCOPE OF WORK

The selected vendor will be responsible for:

  • Supplying one (1) HP ProLiant DL360 Gen11 server.
  • Providing a server with the following minimum specifications:
    - Dual Intel® processors (up to 2 CPUs)
    - Minimum 640GB RAM
    - Minimum 32TB SSD storage
    - Integrated remote management capability (iLO)
  • Verifying that all hardware components meet the required specifications.
  • Providing an iLO Advanced License for remote server management.
  • Ensuring secure delivery of the equipment to the designated Inkomoko office/DR site in Kenya.

    Note: Physical installation and software configuration will be handled internally by Inkomoko. Deliverables

The vendor is expected to provide:

  • One (1) fully compliant physical server as specified.
  • Manufacturer warranty documentation (minimum 3-year Next Business Day support).
  • Delivery note confirming receipt of goods.
  • Official tax invoice.

DURATION & TIMELINE

The server must be delivered within 30 days from the date of Purchase Order (PO) issuance.

REPORTING & SUPERVISION

The assignment will be supervised by the Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The vendor must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an authorized Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Silver or Gold Partner.
  • Be a registered business entity in Kenya with valid tax compliance documentation.
  • Demonstrate capacity to supply enterprise-grade IT hardware within the specified timeline.

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical Compliance (70%) – Adherence to required hardware specifications and warranty provisions.
  • Financial Proposal (30%) – Cost-effectiveness and delivery terms.

Proposal Submission Requirements

Interested vendors must submit:

  • Company registration documents.
  • Technical specification sheet of the proposed server.
  • Financial quotation inclusive of all applicable taxes and delivery costs to Nairobi.
  • Expected lead time for delivery.
