Jiro-ve is a social enterprise whose aim is to make renewable energy accessible to people in Madagascar. Through our unique business model, which uses local business people, we make high-quality solar products available to people who would otherwise use expensive candles and kerosene, which negatively affects their health. Jiro-ve means in Malagasy “Do you want light? We got light!” This is currently true for all the members we are serving, starting from 2012 on.
