Looking for an entrepreneurial leader to build the HR function ground-up at a fast-growing AgriTech startup, transforming small farmers' lives in India. As a key leader, you'll juggle multiple facets of HR including recruitment, L&D, and more. Ideal candidates will be mission driven and excited about organizational building.

What you will do

  • Craft and execute Kheyti’s HR strategy: Co-create strategy with leadership team, aligned to larger organizational priorities; take full ownership of executing this strategy, becoming the ‘go-to’ leader for all things HR-related

  • Build and lead our recruitment team: Build, coach, and lead our HR team into a streamlined hiring engine, helping achieve our ambitious growth plans

  • Hire & build a central L&D function: Work with business / field leaders to integrate training, coaching, rituals, and manager effectiveness, enhancing org-wide skills and performance

  • Live and disseminate Kheyti’s culture: Serve as the culture champion, building a value-aligned environment where our team is excited to work

  • Improve employee engagement: Collect feedback and implement suggestions to increase morale & efficiency.

  • Streamline HR operations: Design and improve HR processes and policies

What we’re looking for

Qualifications

  • 12+ years experience, with 6+ in HR contexts

  • 3+ years experience leading and owning end-to-end HR team KPIs

  • 3+ years experience in growth organisations / startups, where you’ve played a role in building the function

Attitudes / Ambitions

  • You thrive in extreme autonomy and in dynamic environments without hierarchy - that, at times, can feel like chaos

  • Building teams is more exciting to you than being an individual “hero”

  • You are excited to roll up your sleeves and get into the weeds with the team, helping solve problems instead of only giving strategic direction
