Leadership and strategy- Develop supply chain strategies to optimize operations, align with business goals, enhance customer satisfaction, and build a high-performing team through hiring, coaching, and training.
Demand & Inventory Planning-Contribute to AOP discussions, create a demand plan combining forecasts and team inputs, and establish inventory strategies for finished products and key raw materials.
Sourcing & Procurement-Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, evaluate in-source vs. outsource strategies, build vendor partnerships, align procurement with business plans, and provide market insights to leadership.
Transportation, Warehousing & Commissioning- Manage logistics for on-time delivery, optimize warehousing and inventory handling, ensure efficient labor supply for installations, and maintain compliance with regulations.
Process optimization & Performance Analysis and Reporting-Enhance supply chain efficiency through ERP systems, drive improvements, mitigate risks, track KPIs, and report performance insights to senior management.
Education - BE/B Tech preferably in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Operations / Supply Chain Management preferred
Experience - 12-15 years in procurement, logistics, and supply chain planning for made-to-order or assembled-to-order products, with a proven track record of achieving ambitious cost savings in organizations with significant commodity costs. At least 3+ years of experience leading the supply chain function and owning end-to-end supply chain KPIs.
