As AM, PPC, you will be leading the production planning procresses at our world class manufacturing facility based out of Sanand, Ahmedabad. You will play a key role in the scaling up of our unique flagship product, a two-burner ethanol cooker and canister which offers a clean cooking experience to our customers across emerging markets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan equipment, material and manpower requirements to meet production schedule
  • Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations
  • Effectively organizes resources and activities to deal with short-term concerns
  • Schedule shifts according to production needs
  • Releasing/Closing MOs/Wos, as per production forcast
  • Plan production control activities to improve uptime while maintaining high quality, timely delivery & cost-effectiveness
  • Work with SCM department in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory level
  • Perform inventory management
  • Monitor inventory levels of FG and Raw material and making adjustments to reduce slow moving and obsolete inventory
  • Work in close coordination with SCM & Finance to ensure material uptime for production
  • Collating forecasts and proposing an optimal procurement plan for the month
  • Work with QA and Production departments for material reconciliation
  • Uses analysis of historical data and current trends to make meaningful projections and forecasts
  • Prepare monthly MIS report

Skills required

  • Knowledge of Functional application software (ERP/SAP)
  • TPM or Lean Manufacturing Experience strongly preferred.
  • Well versed with Sheet metal and Injection moulding operations
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications

  • BE from a reputed institution
  • 7-10 years experience with a large scale OEM
