Responsibilities

  • Introduce Industrial Engineering concepts & techniques through analysis, and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing processes
  • Support Production teams for continuous improvement and drive process improvement workshops
  • Improve process control to manufacture defect free products
  • Integrate safety and ergonomics principles in manufacturing processesLead team of KPI improvement (yield, cycle time, downtime, productivity, quality) for responsible products and perform continuous improvement activities
  • Conduct Design of experiment, data collecting including analysis to make improvement and/or modification
  • Help Management to understand the weekly, monthly poor yielding processes or bottleneck processes and formulate the improvement planControl full process flow, final design of new product/process/tooling transfer from development phase/engineering to mass production
  • Perform Line optimization study covering motion, line balancing, Cycle time mapping, ergonomics factors, VSM, Takt Time and proposing the balanced line Layouts
  • Should have knowledge of factory layout using software (industrial layout)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Production or Manufacturing Engineering preferably from automotive high volume manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of handling KAIZEN, LEAN,Process Improvement projects
  • Having Knowledge of Projection , spot welding,assembly line balancing would be a plus point
  • Problem-solving, strong Decision making and good analytical skills
  • Experience in Solidworks and AutoCAD a must
  • Good in English communication
  • Ability work in shift
